About Youth Music Collective

Founded by Wollaston small business owner, Lee Brown, along with support from another Wollaston small business owner, James Gascoigne; the Youth Music Collective is a free to attend, community driven youth music group aiming to encourage, bring together and support young people interest in playing music.

Hosted locally at Wollaston Village Hall (Bridgnorth Road, Wollaston, DY8 3SN) on every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month between 6-7pm. It’s entirely free to attend for 11 to 17 year olds.

There will be a variety of instruments provided for attendees, from electric guitars and basses, to drums, pianos and acoustic guitars with the idea being that if you have been interested in trying or learning an instrument, you can do so in a relaxed, encouraging environment, free of any costs. Whether you have never picked an instrument up before, or whether you have already been taking lessons, you are very much welcomed to join us. You can meet like minded similar age people, creating friendships that share a core passion for music. Try out an instrument that has interested you, but perhaps can’t justify buying one of your own yet, or simply not sure if it’s right for you or not, the Youth Music Collective gives you the chance to try, with some support on hand too.
